Prior to having any chemical peel, it is important to disclose any medication one is on, especially if one suffers from any heart condition.
Please note you should not use retinol 7 days before or after your treatment
During your consultation, we will assess your skin type and condition. We will also discuss your goals for treatment and your skin care journey at The Neon Salon.
On the day of treatment, we will begin by cleansing the skin to remove any oils prior to chemical peeling. Once the chemical peel has been applied, you may experience a tingling sensation which will last for a few minutes. Our professionals will monitor your skin and adjust and remove products as required during this time.
Please note: The treatment is not invasive and should be done at our salon every 4 weeks for optimal results.
Once the chemical peel has been removed, we will apply a moisturizer to hydrate the skin and protect it from further damage. Depending on your chemical peel type, you may experience some redness and swelling which should subside within 24-48 hours.
We will provide you with aftercare instructions, however, you should avoid sun exposure and use sunscreen for at least one week after treatment.
